When I paint, I let form and the effect of light guide me but I always rely on my own feelings and imagination.
I believe that technical skills acquired are not enough. I must also have the courage to listen to my own heart.

If there is but one reason why I paint, it is the emotional thrill and satisfaction of bringing something new into being.
